The terms of jurisdiction, data sovereignty, and algorithmic governance under which the Magisterial Energy Operating System (MEOS) functions.
Magisterial Energy provides commercial intelligence infrastructure, settlement reconciliation, and algorithmic verification for power purchase agreements. The outputs of the MEOS platform — including but not limited to TOU audits, SAWEM exposure maps, and fiduciary reporting — constitute data-driven commercial intelligence.
Magisterial Energy does not provide statutory legal counsel, nor does it act as a registered financial services provider under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act. Clients must rely on their own appointed legal counsel to execute contract amendments or formal litigation arising from MEOS intelligence.
The integrity of the MEOS platform relies on strict data isolation. Client data is sovereign. Magisterial Energy does not share, sell, or cross-pollinate raw metering data, settlement records, or specific contractual terms between clients.
Information published in our Market Dispatches or Evidence Dossiers is subjected to a rigorous anonymization protocol. Identifying variables — including specific Megawatt capacities, exact nodal locations, precise financial figures, and corporate identities — are systematically altered to create a composite representation of market phenomena that preserves absolute client confidentiality while maintaining directional accuracy.
MEOS operates strictly within the regulatory parameters established by the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) and the emerging framework of the National Transmission Company of South Africa (NTCSA). Dispute resolution evidence produced by the platform is formatted specifically to align with NERSA's evidentiary requirements.
The platform continuously updates its logic to reflect the transition to the South African Wholesale Electricity Market (SAWEM). However, as this regulatory framework is subject to ongoing legislative changes, Magisterial Energy accepts no liability for retroactive regulatory amendments enacted by the state that alter the settlement architecture after a MEOS audit has been completed.
Access to the MEOS platform and DealStream engine is strictly controlled. Magisterial Energy reserves the absolute right to refuse access, decline to tender, or terminate the onboarding protocol if a prospective portfolio or asset does not meet our minimum thresholds for commercial coherence, credit viability, or ethical standing.
Speculative submissions that fail to clear the MEOS Feasibility Gate are dismissed automatically without further obligation or advisory liability from Magisterial Energy.
